Kee Bitsinnie

Kee Bitsinnie was born into a family of talented weavers, including his mother, Gladys Bitsinnie, and sister, Betty Bitsinne Rock. An active weaver in the 1980s and 1990s, Kee is noted for creating intricate geometric patterns with eye-dazzling optical effects, such as his Illusion series. He also wove a unique basket honoring Twin Rocks Trading Post. The name of the trading post runs along the outer rim of the basket encircling a group of figures wearing red shirts holding hands.
